1 pack of dried Sorrel
3 Qtr. Hot Water
1/4 oz. Pound Ginger
10 Pieces of Clove
1 tbs. Vanilla
sugar to taste
Method:
Place in a large bowl or Jar all the ingredients
let stand and simmer for at least 4 hours.
Strain the liquid through fine sieve or
strainer.
Add sugar to taste. Add Ice and serve to your family

Alternative method is to set
the sorrel and all its ingredients in room
temperature water over night and not hot water,
I found the resulting mixture is much softer and
not as sharp with more of the nature sorrel
flavor. |
